Study MBBS in abroad without NEET in 2018-19

It is to inform all concerned that as per the order of Honorable High court Delhi, verdict was passed on 27th September 2018, stating that NEET qualifying is not compulsory to study MBBS in abroad. Students those who were shattered with the rule passed by MCI in March 2018, stated that from May 31 2018, it will be mandatory to qualify NEET(National Eligibility Entrance Test) to study MBBS in abroad.

With this rule many students those who were unable to clear NEET this year dropped their dreams to study MBBS in abroad. this rule was opposed by saying that NEET is National Eligibility Entrance Test conducted to check the medical ability of students going to study MBBS in India, students who wish to study MBBS in abroad don’t have to undergo any such test, as after completion to MBBS in abroad Indian students has to go with MCI screening test that is to check their medical ability to practice in India. So it is unfair to check the medical ability of Indian students twice who wish to study MBBS in abroad.

After a long discussion and fight Honorable Mr. Justice S Ravindra Bhatt and Honorable Mr. Justice A.K Chawala were able to gain justice for the students who did not qualify NEET this year, and finally on 27th September 2018, Delhi High Court gave the verdict that One time exemption will be given for the year 2018-19 to the students those you are not qualified in NEET 2018. They can Study MBBS in abroad with the eligibility certificate from MCI for the year 2018-19 and they will be eligible to give MCI screening test after the completion of their medical study in abroad.
